Salary: up to £37000 dependant on experience plus Veolia benefits and bonus scheme

Hours: 40 hours per week

Location: Cannock, Staffordshire

Hybrid - Home/Cannock office

What You'll Be Doing

In this role you will be responsible for aspects of Financial Accounting Reporting undertaken at the Finance Shared Service Centre. This includes:

  • Responding to audit requests
  • Managing the audit throughout the process
  • providing advice to local accountants on finance matters
  • Works with management to provide financial information as needed, like costs, budgets, forecasts as needed
  • Highlights potential non-compliance issues with financial procedures to relevant managers
  • Assists in implementing new group finance policies and procedures in the business area
  • Collaborates with the finance team to assist with other ad hoc tasks
  • Collaborate with others to complete balance sheet reconciliations

What Are We Looking For

  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Personable and comfortable liaising with colleagues at all levels of the organisation
  • Part qualified in a formal accounting qualification e.g ACA, ACCA, CIMA or AAT complete
  • Experience in finance auditing
