Job description

Here at GXO logistics, we are currently recruiting for an Assistant Finance Manager to join our team in Lutterworth, on the BT contract. Day to day you will be assisting the finance department with all operational support activities including preparation and delivery of financial weeklies and reconciliation to P&L ensuring compliance to corporate requirements.

You will be working Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 with hybrid working option.

Pay, benefits and more:

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £36,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:

Prepare weekly and monthly end management accounts for specific contracts & review with the operational management team

Prepare detailed analysis to the customer and the provision of monthly reporting packs, together with backing documents to support the financial charges

Balance sheet recomciliation and analysis of variances

Provide analysis with commentary to aid the operational management in the interpretation of results

Support with continuous improvement cost/benefit analysis and tracking

What you need to succeed at GXO:

Previous experience with finance customer facing roles

Excellent understanding of management accounting principles and systems

Advance use of Excel, SAP, Lucanet, Blackline

Previous experience of working in a finance role will be advantageous
