We are recruiting a key role in finance: the Assistant Finance Director (Housing). This position offers the chance to lead financial strategy and impact the Housing Revenue Account (HRA), overseeing one of the largest social housing stocks in the country and influencing national initiatives like the Council Housing 100 campaign.
The role involves building strategic relationships across services and with senior leaders and Members, advising on finance and planning, and leading a team to foster continuous improvement, value-added service, and best value.
The ideal candidate is a fully qualified accountant with leadership experience in a complex organization, with previous housing experience and in-depth knowledge of HRA.
