Assistant Finance Business Partner

Remote/occasional travel to Gloucester HQ and Group Business Units required

Our client is a leading and growing national service provider recruiting for an Assistant Finance Business Partner. This is a newly created home working role with occasional visits to their Gloucester HQ and Group Business Units. The successful candidate will work closely with a designated Finance Business Partner and will be responsible for managing self-contained business units.

Duties of the role include:
  • Assisting with the preparation of month-end Management Accounts
  • Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets
  • Liaising with the on-site operations team on day-to-day costing
  • Carrying out unit performance analysis and assisting with financial modelling projects
  • Performing ad-hoc duties as required

To succeed in this role, you should be highly organized and able to meet deadlines. You will work well both independently and within a team, with excellent attention to detail. Ideally, you will be AAT qualified (or equivalent) and have the ambition to study CIMA/ACCA or similar qualifications. Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups) are required, and PowerBI knowledge is advantageous.
