Job summary

Fusion People are recruiting an Assistant Estates Manager for the NHS in Birmingham. The role operates on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern with day and night duties and a salary up to 61k plus a 22% shift allowance.

You will manage workload, implement PPMs, handle reactive works and meet SLAs, and cover sickness/leave while supervising seven staff: 2 electrical, 2 mechanical, 2 maintenance and 1 fabric. Electric applicants must hold AM2 and 18th edition; Mechanical applicants require City & Guilds

Qualifications

• Electric role requires AM2 and 18th edition wiring knowledge.
• Mechanical path requires City & Guilds Levels 2/3 for relevant trades.
• DBS Standard check and ability to pass is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage workload and PPMs for building services.
• Handle reactive works and meet SLAs.
• Cover sickness and annual leave and manage escalations.
• Lead a team of 7: 2 electrical, 2 mechanical, 2 maintenance assistants, 1 fabric.

Assistant Estates Manager - NHS - Birmingham - 4 on 4 off - days and nights - Salary to 61k

• Salary 44,000 - 50,000 plus a shift allowance of 22% of the salary offered
• Shift pattern of 2 days on (7am-7pm) then 2 nights on (7pm-7am) then 4 days off
• 80% office, 20% on tools
• 7 under them, 2 elec, 2 mech, 2 Maintenance Assistants, 1 fabric
• Manging workload, PPMs, reactive works, Meet SLAs, Covering sickness and annual leave, deal with escalations.
• Would look at an Electrical or Mechanical manager.
• If Electric, must be fully qualified and have AM2 and 18th edition. If Mechanical must have City & Guilds Mechanical Engineering Level 2 & 3 or City & Guilds Pipefitting & Plumbing Level 2 & 3 or City & Guilds Plumbing Level 2 & 3
• No car with this role as it's static

This role includes a DBS Standard check therefore ability to pass is essential.
