Job summary

N Family Club in Leatherhead, Surrey is seeking an Assistant Educator to join our Nursery team. You’ll support with the N Curriculum, deliver learning through play, and help create an inspiring environment that nurtures curiosity and confidence.

No prior experience required; we welcome passionate individuals who want to develop through induction, training including Paediatric First Aid and safeguarding, and a generous benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must have a genuine passion for education and changing lives of children.
• Willingness to complete induction and further training including Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding and Child Protection, and Level 2/3 EY qualification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the learning through play ethos and the N Curriculum with care.
• Follow daily routine and ensure smooth transitions between activities.
• Support planning of engaging learning experiences to support child development.
• Assist with observations, assessments, and planning for key children.
• Help supervise mealtimes in line with safety policies.
• Carry out health & safety checks and escalate issues as needed.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers.
• Embed policies and procedures into daily practice.
• Keep learning areas tidy and assist with nursery operations.
