Job Description:

Futures Ecology is seeking an Assistant Ecologist or Ecologist with a focus on Ornithology. The role involves undertaking ornithological surveys and report production, or applicants with a keen interest in ornithology and bird identification skills. The position offers a salary of £23,500+, dependent on experience.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Specialism in Ornithology, with experience in scoping, breeding, and non-breeding bird surveys
• A degree in Ecology or related field, or equivalent experience
• Full, clean driving license with business use insurance and access to transportation
• CIEEM Membership (minimum Qualifying)
• Proficiency in GIS software (desirable)
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexibility for irregular hours and travel
• Good organizational skills and high motivation
