Arcadis is looking for a new Assistant Driller / Site Labourer to be based from our Thornbury facility. The position will involve working throughout the UK across a variety of sites and sectors including manufacturing, petrochemical, and construction environments.
Whilst beneficial, no previous experience in land drilling is necessary as this is an entry-level role with great scope for promotion through to lead driller in the future. This role requires someone who enjoys working outside in a wide variety of site environments.
The role will require you to travel to sites across the UK during the working week and stay local to the drilling site Monday-Friday. PPE and single accommodation/travel expenses will be provided.
Please note that, although the majority of work will be away, daily commuting to the depot will be required; therefore, the successful candidate will reside within a reasonable commute from Thornbury.
For those wishing to progress, further in-house training, apprenticeships, and NVQs in Land Drilling will be available to allow you to work towards becoming a qualified Lead Driller.
