Assistant Digital Solutions Consultant (SharePoint & Power Platform) at WSP in the UK & Ireland.

About the Role

Digital transformation is reshaping the Water industry. As a Digital Consultant you will support clients in implementing emerging technologies—Generative Design, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Twins and advanced analytics—to achieve sustainable, high‑quality outcomes across the asset lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Use Python to automate repeatable tasks, transform datasets, validate data quality, or prototype logic that complements low‑code solutions.
• Build and enhance SharePoint Online sites, lists, libraries and metadata structures to support digital workflows and document/data management.
• Develop and maintain Power Automate flows (approvals, notifications, data movement, scheduled jobs, governance‑friendly automation).
• Support data visualisation through tools such as Power BI, including data manipulation in Power Query and working with stakeholders to communicate insights.
• Help run discovery sessions with teams to understand pain points and collaborate to develop solutions.
• Provide clear documentation, tested scripts and maintainable solutions to support teams.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or higher degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent professional experience and qualifications.
• Good knowledge of programming languages and data integration tools such as Python and FME.
• Appreciation and awareness of a variety of programming languages, visualisation, modelling and automation packages and their interoperability.
• Experience managing data and using data to drive decision‑making.
• Strong communication skills to effectively understand team requirements and influence behaviours, fostering a culture of innovation.
