Job Title: Assistant Development and Delivery Manager (New Homes)
Location: Hybrid role – working from our office in Newcastle Upon Tyne and from home
Type: Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw)
Salary: £27,574 to £30,455 per annum (negotiable on experience) and great benefits including Health Cash Plan
Join us in our fantastic role of Assistant Development and Delivery Manager
Supporting us to build the right homes in the right places for our customers. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills while supporting the delivery of our new-homes development programme in the North-East region. You’ll assist in delivering mixed tenure schemes on time and within budget, ensuring excellent service for our customers and communities.
Typical day as an Assistant Development and Delivery Manager
- Collaborate with Development & Delivery colleagues across multiple sites, primarily in the North of the Tyne area, managing income and expenditure, and assisting in scheme delivery against key performance targets.
- Manage and deliver projects, including project appraisals, data analysis, cashflows, contract schedules, scheme budgets, document management, site inspections, and property handovers.
- Use your interpersonal skills to maintain good relationships with developers, contractors, and internal teams.
- This role offers opportunities for career progression across the full development and delivery lifecycle.
What you bring
- Knowledge of residential-led development, project management, and the planning system, with experience in delivering new homes on site preferred.
- A passion and willingness to learn all aspects of land/development and professional project management.
- Strong organizational skills and excellent written communication for clear, concise reports.
- Attention to detail, self-motivation, and a collaborative approach to delivering excellent service.

You’ll report to Sarah or Laura, Senior Development and Delivery Managers dedicated to delivering high-quality homes for our customers.
Job details
- Work Monday to Friday, with flexibility to shape your own schedule.
- This is a hybrid role: two days in our Newcastle office, the rest working from home, with some site visits as required.
- Proficiency in technology for project management, online learning, and collaboration is essential.
