Talk Recruitment is assisting a leading Tier 1 building main contractor in recruiting an Assistant Design Manager to support a Senior Design Manager on multi-million-pound education projects in the East Midlands.

The role requires knowledge of the Building Sector, experience as a Design Co-ordinator or D&B Coordinator/Manager, and a relevant qualification; architecture or design engineering backgrounds are welcome. Strong communication and proactivity are essential.

• Main Contractor experience preferred; also open to Architects/Consultancies.

My client is a leading Tier 1 building main contractor, with a busy and fast-growing workload. As a result of securing further new projects, this employer is looking to recruit an Assistant Design Manager to support a Senior Design Manager on multi-million-pound projects, long term local work in the East Midlands.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Knowledge of Building Sector.
• Previous employment as a Design Co-ordinator, D&B Coordinator, D&B Manager, Design Manager.
• Architecture or Design Engineering backgrounds also considered.
• Ideally previous Main Contractor employment, but also open to consider candidates moving across from Architects or Design Consultancies.
• High level of communication skills.
• Relevant industry qualification (Degree / HND / HNC etc).
