Protocol Education is assisting a Sunderland primary school to recruit an experienced Assistant Cook for term-time, 20 hours per week. You will work closely with the Cook in Charge to prepare, cook and serve meals while upholding high food safety standards.
The role offers a friendly school environment, weekly pay, and a six-month temporary contract with opportunities for extension. You will need catering experience and a Food Hygiene qualification (or willingness to obtain one).

Working closely with the Cook in Charge, you will support the preparation, cooking and service of meals whilst maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene, safety and presentation.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
