Hertfordshire Catering Ltd (HCL) is seeking an Assistant Cook Manager for Galley Hill Primary School and Nursery on a maternity cover basis, delivering nutritious meals and supporting the Cook Manager across a full term-time schedule.

You will work as part of a friendly school catering team, ensuring food safety and allergens compliance, managing stock and inventory records, representing the brand professionally, and upholding safeguarding standards throughout the school day; if you value

Formación

• Previous experience in education catering or a similar environment is essential.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements within a school environment.
• Clear understanding of key allergens and the ability to cater for a wide range of special dietary requirements.
• Competent in using IT systems for ordering, inventory monitoring, and maintaining accurate allergen records.
• Able to support and work collaboratively as part of a team.

• Prepare nutritious meals that meet client and student expectations.
