Job summary

WG060 Witherslack Group Ltd in Waterstock is recruiting a school cook to prepare and serve nutritious meals for students, staff and visitors. You will work at the heart of the school, following hygiene rules and creating varied menus while supporting dietary requirements.

The role is 32 hours per week, starting in September 2026, with full induction and holidays. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds and provide wellbeing tools and discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience catering in a professional setting or be a competent home cook.
• Ideally hold a Basic Food Hygiene and Safety Certificate.
• Hard-working, friendly and dependable.

£18,626 – £19,217 (FTE £24,796 – £25,583). The successful candidate will be expected to work 32 hours per week and start in September2026. Shortlisting will be completed in August.
