Due to our successful growth and commitment to providing excellent care and services to clients and children, we are seeking an experienced Cook to join our team.

The Role

As an Assistant Cook in one of our schools, you will assist with preparing and delivering a healthy, nutritious, and fun menu for students and staff. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality food and service, showcasing flair and originality to make our catering offer one of the best in the area.

Your Responsibilities

1. Preparation of the menu using provided recipes
2. Ensuring Food Hygiene, Allergen, and Health and Safety compliance
3. Producing hospitality services as per client requests
4. Building relationships with clients and customers
5. Providing friendly and polite customer service

About You

We are looking for someone passionate about delivering exceptional food and service in schools, with the following skills and experience:

• Knowledge of education catering, using fresh ingredients, and excellent craft skills
• Food Hygiene Level 2 (further training available)
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety practices
• Self-motivated, able to use initiative, eager to learn and motivate others
