Scale 3 Point 5-6 depending on experience (£13,613 - £13,840 actual salary per annum)

£12.18 - 12.39 per hour (pending annual increment April 2025)

Highwoods Community Primary School is looking to appoint a reliable, efficient and enthusiastic person to the position of Assistant Cook to join our existing catering team.

We will expect you to:

- work with the catering team to produce over 250 meals on a daily basis
- deputise for the catering manager as required
- assist with food orders and paperwork as required
- serve food in the dinner hall
- ensure tables and counters are clean and stocked during service
- perform general cleaning duties including deep cleaning
