Job Description

Sushi Gourmet is recruiting a Full-Time Chef Manager (£13/hour) to join our team at Sainsbury’s kiosk in Letchworth SG6 2HX.

We are looking for:

  • Enthusiastic, energetic individuals with the ability to demonstrate initiative
  • Flexible with a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Always happy to help customers with a smile
  • Able to work as part of a team or independently while maintaining high standards
  • Excited to produce high-quality, sustainable food products

And have:

  • Experience in leading people, building confidence and capability in your team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while leading by example
  • Pride in your work, with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Good understanding of Food Safety & Health and Safety regulations, brand standards, and company policies
  • Reliable transportation for early morning shifts

And are able to:

  • Be accountable for the Kiosk and team, maintaining audit standards and compliance
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness and food safety on site
  • Be highly organized with a focus on forward planning
  • Prepare fresh ingredients by hand, including meat and raw fish products
  • Accurately label products ensuring legal compliance around food safety and allergens
  • Be a skilled multitasker
  • Be an early riser, as shifts can start at 6am
  • Learn new skills or improve existing ones
