A leading European life sciences organization is seeking an Assistant Company Secretary for a 12-month hybrid role in central London. This position involves supporting the Company Secretary with governance and compliance matters, working closely with boards to ensure smooth operations. Candidates should have prior Company Secretarial experience and knowledge of relevant practices.

Our client, a leading European life sciences organisation, is looking to recruit an Assistant Company Secretary to assist the Company Secretary for a 12-month period.
The role is hybrid, with 2 days per week office-based in central London.
The role will focus on supporting the Company Secretary in providing effective secretariat services and corporate governance. The Assistant Company Secretary will work directly with the company and investor boards to ensure the smooth operation of the Company Secretary function. This includes providing expertise in legal, governance, regulatory, and compliance matters to minimise risk and exposure.
Key responsibilities include:
To be considered, candidates must have previous Company Secretarial experience within large group structures and European subsidiaries. Knowledge of NHS and pharmaceutical company practices is preferred, along with familiarity with company law, taking minutes, and preparing/distributing board papers.
