Job summary

Strata Construction Consulting UK Ltd is seeking a Graduate/Assistant Civil Engineer to support highway and drainage design across a mix of small and large schemes. You will contribute to design calculations, drawings, and reports for developments ranging from 150 to 5000 residential units and supporting infrastructure.

The role offers flexible working, training in-house with ICE, and opportunities for professional development within a leading independent consultancy.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering and relevant highways/drainage design experience.
• Experience designing commercial and residential developments with infrastructure and drainage.
• Knowledge of highway design standards (DMRB, Manual for Streets) and adoption processes (S278, S38, S104).
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civils 3D, Site 3D and Flow; strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide design expertise for highways and drainage across varied schemes.
• Assist in preparing drawings and technical specifications for projects.
• Support project delivery, coordination, and client liaison as required.
