Job summary

Vertas is looking for an Assistant Chef based at Bedgebury Café, Goudhurst, Kent. The role is 30 hours per week, across 4 days on a rota, with shifts 08:00–16:00.

You will prepare food to site standards, manage your station, and ensure safety and hygiene while supporting stock management and a collaborative kitchen team. We require proven chef experience, knowledge of cooking methods, and strong communication and time-management skills.

About the Role

Based at Bedgebury Café, Goudhurst, Kent, TN17 2SJ, you will be working 30 hours a week (working 4 days out of 7 on a rota basis) The shift times will be 08:00am - 16:00pm.
