Job description

We're recruiting an experienced Assistant Catering Manager who is passionate about exceptional food and world-class customer service, and who can confidently oversee all Compass Group UK&I catering and service operations for Restaurant Associates on a part-time basis, contracted to 32 hours per week.

As an Assistant Catering Manager, you will:

• Ensure our kitchens and service counters run smoothly and help deliver incredible food experiences.
• Support the management team in overseeing daily operations, managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans.
• Lead and motivate the team to maintain high standards of service and efficiency.
• Manage tills and process payments accurately.
• Support and train team members, leading from the front to enable their success.
• Assist with administrative tasks as required.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I positively to maintain our brand image.

Shift patterns:

4 out of 7 days per week.

Ideal candidate:

• Passionate about exceptional customer service.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Experience managing teams.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ambitious and motivated to upskill.
