Job summary

Wheelock Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic, positive and hard-working Assistant Caretaker to join our dedicated team. This role is 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 12:30 to 18:00, with a 30-minute break, and runs 52 weeks a year.

The salary is £16,754 (actual) and the contract is permanent. The successful candidate will maintain a safe, clean and welcoming school environment, handle site checks, cleaning duties and health and safety compliance, and work closely with staff,

About the Role
  • Position: Assistant Caretaker
  • Hours: 25 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 12:30 to 18:00, 30min break included)

Desirable: Experience in a caretaking or site management role, with knowledge of health and safety requirements.
