Job summary

Fleetville Junior School is seeking a proactive Caretaker to join our friendly team. The role involves physical and manual duties, helping to maintain a safe, welcoming school environment and supporting our school community.

The post is for 37 hours per week, with early starts (open the school at 7:15 am) and some flexibility on hours. There may be occasional weekend or evening work to cover events. Training provided as needed.

Responsibilities

• Open the school building at 7:15 am and secure the premises.
• Carry out cleaning, maintenance and basic repair tasks as required.
• Support the school office and ensure premises safety and security.

This role is for 37 hours per week, the candidate will be expected to open the school building at 7.15 am, there is some flexibility on working hours for the right candidate. This role comes with the possibility to work on rare occasions at weekends and evenings.
