Job summary

SHEIN, a Manchester-based group of brands, invites applications for an Assistant Buyer to support trend-led product development from concept to online. You will help deliver cohesive styles aligned to the brand and target customer, handling day-to-day buying tasks, fittings, sample management, and lead-time planning.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a Buying team.
• Experience supporting product categories from concept to delivery.
• Ability to deliver on KPIs in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Excel and similar software.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to adapt to change and prioritise workload.

Responsibilities

• Support the product team strategy from product development to delivery, following direction from management.
• Assisting in product development to ensure trends and brand consistency, supporting product sign-offs.
• Confidently make garment fit comments to ensure new styles fit the brand aesthetic and commerciality.
• Extracting insights from data reporting and presenting key findings in a weekly update to management.
• Assist in managing Critical path, focusing on product launch dates, lead times, and performance.
• Market Analysis and Competitor Insight reports.
• Collaborate with teams across PR, Creative, Brand, and Management to ensure alignment with product vision and business objectives.

Role Responsibilities:

As an Assistant Buyer, you will support the product team in developing trend-led products from concept to online in a fast-paced environment, while assisting with day-to-day buying functions.
