Job summary

SHEIN is seeking an Assistant Buyer in Manchester to support trend-led product development from concept to online delivery. You will assist with day-to-day buying functions, ensure the collection stays aligned with brand identity, and help manage fit and sample processes.

Key activities include trend research, exploitation of data insights for weekly updates, managing the critical path, lead times, and market analysis.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a Buying team.
  • Experience supporting product categories from concept to delivery.
  • Ability to support and deliver on KPIs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel and similar software.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to adapt to change and prioritise workload in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support product development to ensure trend alignment with brand aesthetics.
  • Assist in product development and sign-offs, ensuring fit comments for new styles.
  • Extract insights from data reporting and present weekly updates to management.
  • Assist in managing Critical path, lead times, and product launch dates.
  • Collaborate with PR, Creative, Brand and Management to align with product vision and business objectives.

Role Responsibilities:

As an Assistant Buyer, you will support the product team in developing trend-led products from concept to online in a fast-paced environment, while assisting with day-to-day buying functions. You will help deliver a cohesive style aligned to the target customer and brand identity, with key responsibilities including trend research, product development, fittings, sample management.

  • Support the product team strategy from product development to delivery, following direction from management
  • Assisting in product development to ensure trends and brand consistency, supporting product sign-offs
  • Confidently make garment fit comments to ensure new styles fit the brand aesthetic and commerciality
  • Extracting insights from data reporting and presenting key findings in a weekly update to management
  • Assist in managing Critical path, focusing on product launch dates, lead times, and performance
  • Market Analysis and Competitor Insight reports
  • Collaborate with teams across PR, Creative, Brand, and Management to ensure alignment with product vision and business objectives
Role Requirements:
