About the role

We are recruiting a Part Time Assistant Buyer for our Giftwrap team within the Home department at Tesco. As an Assistant Buyer, you will work alongside a Buying Manager to plan and deliver profitable ranges that meet customer needs.

This position is suitable for someone looking to work 3-4 days a week.

• Negotiate with suppliers to improve trading positions sustainably
• Support trade, marketing, and events plans to exceed KPIs and increase footfall
• Coordinate with Tesco Business Services and Supply Chain to ensure timely product availability
• Work with suppliers and quality teams to maintain product quality
• Manage commercial income, invoicing, and debt management
• Develop and manage artwork and POS materials
• Adhere to Tesco policies and complete required training
• Manage GHS setup
