Job summary

LG Engineering Solutions is seeking an Assistant Buyer to join our fast-paced Buying department in Trafford Park, Greater Manchester. You will safeguard data accuracy, drive the critical path from brief to launch, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely, compliant product delivery.

You will lead weekly updates, maintain product listings and range data, and support trade shows and sampling, building strong cross-functional relationships with Merchandising, Marketing and Technical teams.

Qualifications

• High attention to detail with a 'right first time' mindset for data input and process integrity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to lead weekly updates and build supplier relationships.
• Energetic and resilient with ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the critical path from brief through to launch, leading weekly meetings with the Buying team to highlight risks.
• Coordinate supplier compliance, review certificates, and resolve identified issues.
• Own completeness and accuracy of product listings and range data to keep information up to date.
• Create and update SKUs, range plans, and core system data points.
• Liaise with suppliers for order assets and review inspection reports to mitigate shipment risks.
• Assist Buyers in preparing for trade shows and business trips by coordinating data, documentation, and samples.
• Oversee movement and storage of samples at every stage.
