Job summary

TVS Supply Chain Solutions UK & Europe is seeking a proactive Procurement Analyst to support the implementation of sourcing strategies, manage supplier communications and drive cost reduction initiatives.

You will work cross-functionally to prepare enquiries, respond to RFIs, expediting quotes, and deliver value through process improvements within a busy purchasing function. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage quotation requests from the client on a daily basis in line with SLA.
• Organise the purchasing mailbox, solve queries and escalate to buyers where appropriate.
• Prepare enquiries and coordinate responses from suppliers.
• Provide administrative support to the Purchasing team to deliver key objectives.
• Support operational supply function with problem resolution in the supply chain.
• Assist buyers ensuring client requests are dealt with promptly.
• Expedite quotes with new and existing suppliers.
• Own delegated tasks through to completion.
• Manage suppliers and cost reduction projects with support.
• Provide actionable summary information to buyers.
• Develop value-adding relationships with cross-functional departments and suppliers.
• Identify process improvements.

Job description

Support the implementation of procurement strategies and take responsibility where allocated.

Support SRM activities to drive commodity strategies creation and cost reduction plans.

Identify and develop new supply chains as required to support business objectives.

Contribute to producing commercial modelling and pricing proposals.

Maintaining close working relationships with the cross functional teams.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing quotation requests from the client on a daily basis in line with SLA
