Job summary

Mattinson Partnership is recruiting for Building Surveyors in Leeds, from Assistant through to Associate levels. Roles involve building surveys, technical due diligence and project management, with APC/MRICS progression support and hybrid working arrangements in a private sector–heavy market.

For Assistant positions, APC and MRICS progression guidance is provided; MRICS status is required for Senior/Associate levels.

Qualifications

• Experience in building surveys and technical due diligence.
• Exposure to schedules of condition and dilapidations.
• Contract administration and project management experience.
• APC/MRICS progression support available for Assistant level.

Responsibilities

• Carry out building surveys and condition assessments.
• Assist with dilapidations and pre-acquisition surveys.
• Support contract administration and project management tasks.
• Provide defect diagnosis and technical advice to clients.
• Contribute to refurbishment and redevelopment projects.
• Engage with commercial property portfolios and clients.

I'm currently recruiting for a number of established property and building consultancy practices across Leeds, with opportunities ranging from Assistant Building Surveyor through to Associate level.

These are varied opportunities across multiple consultancies, predominantly working within the private sector, with some roles also offering exposure to public sector clients.

Assistant Building Surveyor

For Assistant-level positions, you do not need to be MRICS qualified. These roles are suited to candidates who are working towards their APC or looking to begin their journey towards chartership.

The consultancies I'm working with can provide structured APC support, professional

development and guidance to help you work towards and achieve MRICS status.

For Building Surveyor, Senior and Associate-level positions, MRICS status is required.

Depending on level, experience may include:
