My client is recruiting for a Building Surveyor to join their Manchester office. They are a niche project management, cost consulting, and building surveying practice looking to expand.

The candidate needs to have a drive to succeed and an ability to appeal to a varied client base. You will need to demonstrate a successful track record in both professional and project-based work. You will assist senior staff and work independently to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high standards.

Responsibilities:

• Active involvement in the procurement, design, and delivery of new build and refurbishment projects, including mixed-use, industrial, residential, and commercial schemes.
• Advising clients on programme, cost, and procurement implications for both public and private sector projects.
• Participating in client-facing meetings to provide professional advice.
• Experience in procuring and managing multi-disciplinary consultant teams.
• Understanding the project delivery process from inception to completion.
• Knowledge of building technology, compliance, Building Regulations, and defect management.

Requirements:

• BSc Hons in Building Surveying with at least 2 years of experience.
• Chartered membership of RICS, CIOB, CIAT, RIBA, or similar qualification.
• Full UK driving license.
