Job summary

PZ Cussons is seeking an Assistant Brand Manager in Manchester to translate brand strategy into marketing activity that drives growth across Original Source, Childs Farm or Cussons. You will work within a close-knit brand team, shaping plans, campaigns and shopper activity that boost market share and brand equity.

You’ll combine consumer insight with commercial thinking, coordinating campaigns across channels and ensuring executions are distinctive and impactful.

Qualifications

• Experience in marketing, brand management or a similar role, with involvement in campaigns from planning through to delivery.
• Confidence using market research, consumer insight and performance data to spot opportunities and shape action.
• Strong project management and organisation, with the ability to keep several priorities moving without losing attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication, plus experience working with agencies or external partners.
• Creative problem-solving and the confidence to champion new ideas, challenge convention and work through ambiguity.

• Shape and deliver key parts of the brand's 12-month growth plan, helping strengthen brand equity and grow market share.
• Bring integrated campaigns to life across channels, creating consistent experiences that build consumer engagement and support sales growth.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Build understanding of the brand P&L, monthly M&C reporting and KPIs so decisions are grounded in commercial performance.

Protect the brand's positioning and standards while briefing agencies and supporting digital platforms and the customer care journey.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
