Job summary

Elliotts is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager in Romsey to lead the branch alongside the Branch Manager, oversee quotes, materials and orders, and ensure on-time delivery. You’ll coach the team, drive growth and maintain strong customer service.

The role suits a people person with leadership flair; training on Elliotts products is provided. This is a 40-hour week, full-time post in a family-run business known for stability and team support.

Qualifications

• Brilliant with people and able to motivate the team.
• Experience in branch operations or retail leadership preferred.
• Willing to complete training on Elliotts products.

Responsibilities

• Step up and run the branch when the Branch Manager is away, keeping standards high and the team on track.
• Be a confident leader who can motivate, coach and support colleagues.
• Help grow the branch’s sales ledger by expanding existing accounts and pursuing new business.
• Keep a close eye on branch performance: targets, margins, stock levels and order accuracy.
• Take ownership of branch operations including health and safety, vehicle management, key holding, merchandising, stock control and ordering.
• Deliver high standards of customer service face to face and over the phone.
