Job summary

Park Plaza Riverbank is seeking an Assistant Back of House Manager to lead daily BOH operations across all kitchens, ensuring high standards and efficient stock control. You will supervise and train teams, coordinating with suppliers and internal departments to meet operational needs.

The role requires proven BOH supervision experience in hospitality, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to health and safety.

• Previous experience as a Back of House Supervisor in a hotel or restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily back-of-house operations across all kitchens.
• Train and develop team members to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels of equipment and supplies.
• Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure operational needs are met.
• Conduct regular quality checks and audits of BOH areas and staff uniforms.
• Manage equipment procurement and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
• Support onboarding and training for new starters, ensuring timely reviews.
• Maintain accurate rotas and payroll records aligned with business needs.
• Implement cost-efficient initiatives and monitor departmental expenditure.
• Ensure compliance with pest control, waste management, and chemical safety procedures.
