Arnold Clark is recruiting for an Assistant Bodyshop Manager in St Helens to help run the bodyshop alongside the Bodyshop Manager. You will deal with customers, manage a team and drive efficiency to restore vehicles to peak condition.

The role requires proactive, organised individuals with motor industry experience, strong communication and Audatex knowledge. Full-time hours and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have proven management experience in the automotive sector.
• Good computer literacy and Audatex estimating knowledge.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, plus organisational ability.

Responsibilities

• Assist in running the bodyshop and support the Bodyshop Manager.
• Liaise with customers and manage a team of staff.
• Carry out bodyshop quality checks and update internal systems.
• Estimate and invoice using Audatex.
• Motivate staff to meet targets and ensure health and safety compliance.
