Job summary

Arnold Clark Group in Ayr is recruiting an organised Assistant Bodyshop Manager to help run our busy accident repair centre. You will support the Bodyshop Manager, coordinate a team, and ensure smooth operations while delivering outstanding customer service.

The ideal candidate has automotive industry experience, strong organisational skills, and the ability to meet targets. You will handle customer enquiries, manage quality checks, update Audatex invoices, and help maintain health and safety

Qualifications

• Proven management experience in the automotive sector.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills.
• Proactive and target-driven with team leadership.
• Experience with Audatex estimating.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with customers and manage their requirements, delivering excellent customer service at all times
• Liaise with the Bodyshop Manager to manage a team of staff
• Carry out bodyshop quality control checks
• Carry out updates to internal systems and Audatex invoicing
• Motivate staff to achieve targets and maximise productivity
• Ensure adherence to health & safety policies and housekeeping
