Job summary

Ardencote Hotel & Spa is seeking an experienced Assistant Bars Manager in Warwickshire. The role involves leading shifts, guiding the Bar and Food & Beverage teams, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Reporting to the Bars Manager, you will develop the team, ensure high standards, and contribute to commercial success of the bars. The position is full-time with 45 hours per week and requires flexibility to cover shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have experience working in a busy bar, hospitality or Food & Beverage environment.
• Must enjoy leading, motivating and developing others.
• Is passionate about delivering memorable guest experiences.
• Must stay calm, organised and positive during busy service.
• Must understand standards, safety and attention to detail.
• Must have a commercial mindset and be comfortable with sales, stock and costs.
• Must be a great communicator and a supportive team player.
• Loves finding ways to improve guest experience and operation.

Responsibilities

• Create brilliant guest experiences with warm, attentive service from arrival.
• Support, motivate and develop Bar and F&B teams through coaching and training.
• Coordinate pre-shift briefings, staffing, SOPs and Duty Management.
• Drive revenue by monitoring stock, payroll, costs and implementing promotions.
• Maintain high standards of safety, hygiene, licensing, and equipment.
