Job summary

The Kennels Members Club in Chichester seeks an energetic Assistant Bar Manager to lead the day-to-day running of the club’s bar, including supporting meetings and events.

You’ll work with a strong supervisory team, coach bar staff and casuals, and deliver exceptional service for members across sports, dining, and social occasions.

This permanent, full-time role requires weekend and evening shifts and offers a range of benefits designed for a vibrant hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role within a food and beverage environment.
• Knowledge of bar products including spirits, wines, beers, ales and cocktails.
• Understanding of cellar management, stock control and rotation.
• A passion for creating memorable customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist the day-to-day running of The Kennels bar and support meetings and events.
• Lead and coach a team of supervisors, bar staff and casuals to deliver exceptional service.
