Job summary

The Kennels Members Club is seeking an energetic Assistant Bar Manager to help lead the day-to-day running of the bar, support meetings and events, and deliver outstanding service for members.

You will coach a team of supervisors, bar staff and casuals to ensure exceptional service while upholding The Kennels’ distinctive atmosphere. The role includes hosting golfers’ breakfasts and lively music events in a vibrant, world‑class setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role within a food and beverage environment.
• Knowledge of bar products including spirits, wines, beers, ales and cocktails.
• Understanding of cellar management, stock control and rotation.
• A passion for creating memorable customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• You’ll play a key role in supporting a strong team of supervisors, bar staff and casuals, inspiring and coaching them to deliver exceptional service.
• No two days are the same - from teeing up a golfers’ breakfast to hosting a buzzing music event, you’ll help bring The Kennels’ unique style to life.
