Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven Revit user with experience producing coordinated drawing packages and supporting delivery through RIBA Stage 5.
• Based in London or within a commutable distance.

• Coordinate architectural information with structural and MEP teams to ensure integrated models.
• Support Construction Stage (RIBA Stage 5) on-site to maintain design intent during installation.
• Review shop drawings, technical submissions, and contractor information for compliance with specs and regs.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to coordinate technical information and timely delivery.

Assistant Architect - Commercial - Central London

We are currently partnering with an international Tier 2 Main Contractor with over 400 years of construction experience and over 50 years' experience construction in Europe. Due to their continued growth, they are currently seeking an Assistant Architect to join their London arm to contribute to their further development.

Responsibilities

• Design Production & Technical Delivery

  Prepare, develop, and maintain high-quality architectural drawings, models, and technical documentation using Revit, ensuring accuracy, coordination, and compliance with project and client requirements.

• BIM Coordination & Multidisciplinary Integration

  Coordinate architectural design information with structural and MEP teams, ensuring fully integrated, clash-free models and alignment across all disciplines throughout the construction stage.

• Construction Stage Support (RIBA Stage 5)

  Support the delivery of projects through RIBA Stage 5, working closely with site teams to monitor progress, respond to technical queries, and ensure design intent is maintained during installation.

• Technical Review & Submittals Management

  Review shop drawings, technical submissions, and contractor information, ensuring compliance with design specifications, UK Building Regulations, and project standards.

• Stakeholder & Supply Chain Coordination

  Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to coordinate technical information, resolve design issues, and support the timely delivery of construction packages on fast-paced commercial fit-out projects.

Requirements

• RIBA Part 2 qualified with strong technical design and construction-stage experience, ideally on commercial fit-out projects
• Proven Revit user with experience producing coordinated drawing packages and supporting delivery through RIBA Stage 5
