Job summary

Recruit 121 is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join our global finance team on a hybrid basis (3 days in the office, 2 days at home). The role focuses on intercompany transactions, balance sheet reconciliations, financial analysis and audit support within a collaborative environment.

You'll contribute to month-end close, prepare journals and accruals, and ensure audit readiness across international entities while maintaining strong internal controls and reporting accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Assistant Accountant or similar finance role.
• Strong reconciliation skills, including intercompany accounting.
• Good understanding of month-end processes and balance sheet accounting.
• Experience supporting internal or external audits, including preparing schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manage and reconcile intercompany balances and transactions across international entities.
• Investigate and resolve intercompany discrepancies with finance colleagues.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding items.
• Analyse financial data, investigate variances and provide commentary.
• Support month-end close with journals, accruals and prepayments.
• Assist audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations and documentation.
• Respond to audit queries and liaise with auditors to ensure timely resolution.
