Fletcher George is seeking an Assistant Accountant/Semi Senior Accountant to join their respected practice in Farnham, Surrey. The role offers training, a smart office with parking, and flexible hours.

You will handle daily bookkeeping, prepare management accounts, and produce statutory accounts for SMEs, liaising with clients and HMRC. Applicants should be an AAT/ACA/ACCA student with accounting firm experience. This role offers a clear path to progression.

Qualifications

• Experience working for an accounting firm.
• AAT/ACA/ACCA student with accounting training.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily bookkeeping for clients, including bank reconciliations and VAT returns.
• Prepare monthly management accounts.
• Produce annual statutory accounts for SMEs, including sole traders, LLPs and limited companies.
• Respond to client queries and liaise with them accordingly.
• Work closely with HMRC on all compliance issues.
• Assist with corporate and personal tax returns.
