Job summary

Jackson Hogg is partnering with a growing manufacturing business in Wakefield to recruit an Assistant Accountant. The role offers exposure to month-end close, reconciliations, management accounts, and financial reporting within a supportive finance team.

You will develop through a collaborative environment, with study support and opportunities to contribute to ERP and systems projects, as the business continues its expansion.

Qualifications

• AAT qualification or studying toward a professional accounting qualification.
• Experience in finance or accounting environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Experience supporting month-end processes and reconciliations.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the month-end close process.

A growing and highly successful manufacturing business is looking to appoint an Assistant Accountant to join its finance team in Wakefield.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment. The Role
