We are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our growing Finance team. This hands-on role supports financial operations across the business, ideal for someone proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.

What you'll do:

1. Manage day-to-day accounts payable and receivable
2. Perform account reconciliations and support month-end reporting
3. Assist with regulatory filings and compliance processes
4. Manage the finance inbox, responding to internal and external queries
5. Partner with key stakeholders, including coordination with our external accountant in Estonia
6. Support financial screening of fundraising applicants and other client-related tasks
7. Identify opportunities to streamline existing financial processes
8. Take on ad hoc finance and non-finance projects as needed

What we are looking for:

1. Part-qualified accountant (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or qualified by experience
2. Experience working in a finance team; financial services experience is a plus
3. Strong numeracy and data interpretation skills
4. High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
5. A proactive and solution-oriented approach to work
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
7. Ability to collaborate and build relationships across teams and geographies
8. Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and adapting to shifting priorities
