Key Responsibilities:

As Assistant Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the finance function, with tasks including:

●Daily cash sales reconciliation

●Management of Accounts Payable and processing payments

●Supplier reconciliations and liaison with suppliers, customers, and internal departments

●Supporting Accounts Receivable and credit control

●Assisting the logistics department with import processes

●Supporting month-end and year-end financial processes

●Posting journals and performing control account reconciliations

●Bank reconciliations and assisting with monthly management accounts

●Submitting VAT Returns, CIS, and Intrastat reports

●Supporting the sales team to ensure all filing and documentation complies with regulatory requirements

About You:

●Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience

●Strong team player with excellent communication skills

● Strong administrative/ customer service experience.

● Experience in credit control, including handling telephone communications.

● Strong systems experience, particularly Excel
