Job summary

Healix International in Esher is seeking an Assistance Coordinator to join the Healix Government (HMG) Contract team. You will provide proactive remote medical assistance to UK government employees and dependants overseas, with a strong focus on customer service.

You will document calls, coordinate with the medical team, ensure payments guidance, and monitor cases while prioritising member needs and cost of care. This role requires shift flexibility and a service-forward mindset.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in telephone based or face to face customer service.
• Ability to communicate professionally, employing excellent listening skills.
• English communication skills to native level.
• Ability to liaise with wider team and clients to move cases forward.

Responsibilities

• Handle all calls with empathy and customer focus. Identify needs through effective questioning and listening. Document calls accurately.
• Ensure written communication is accurate, concise and actionable in Case Management System.
• Formulate a care plan with medical team and provide guarantee of payments on behalf of HMG staff.
• Monitor ongoing cases, align with medical direction and consider local facilities and cost of care.
