Qualifications

• Proven asset leadership experience on professional animation productions.
• Strong working knowledge of industry-standard 3D software packages.
• Excellent problem-solving skills for creative and technical hurdles.
• Experienced and honed creative eye for visual quality and detail.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the entire animation production process.
• Ability to successfully delegate, mentor, and manage both people and projects.
• Must exhibit strong team dynamics and a positive, collaborative leadership style.
• Proven ability to meet demanding deadlines while upholding quality.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and creative solutions to pipeline and production challenges.
• Collaborate to define and plan realistic schedules for the asset build team.
• Brief artists and provide technical guidance to junior artists/interns.
• Ensure artists deliver efficient models that integrate into the production pipeline.
• Assist Art Directors with asset feedback and technical perspectives.
• Communicate with other departments to meet their requirements.
• Provide feedback on asset-related issues and suggest new tools.
• Mentor and advise Leads on practical and artistic problem-solving.
• Regularly communicate resource challenges with production managers.
