Job summary

Framestore Limited is seeking an Animation Supervisor in London to oversee the overall animation quality and guide the creative vision. You will cast animators, foster peak performances, and own the team’s output, collaborating closely with rigging and pipeline departments to improve character setups and tools.

You will train and mentor a talented team, lead daily reviews, and participate in client reviews, ensuring progress to production while meeting show milestones.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supervising a creative animation team.
• Strong knowledge of Maya and animation pipelines.
• Understanding of rigging setups and data transfer.
• Able to meet deadlines and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Willingness to collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Set clear visual benchmarks and provide strong examples for the team.
• Collaborate with the Animation Lead to craft compelling, character-driven moments.
• Lead daily reviews with the animation team and attend client reviews.
• Communicate ongoing progress to production and ensure milestones are hit.
• Mentor and train animators to improve quality and consistency.
