YTL UK is seeking an Asset Team Chemical Operator to perform routine and reactive maintenance on chemical dosing assets across Yeovil, Bridgwater, Weston-super-Mare and surrounding areas. You will work on dosing rigs, pumps, valves, and IBCs, setting up temporary rigs and transferring chemicals while ensuring health and safety standards.

Training will be provided, and a full UK driving license is required. The role blends independent work with regional teamwork, focusing on asset reliability,

Responsabilidades

• Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance on chemical dosing assets.

• Calibrate and maintain equipment; clean and replace components.
• Support treatment teams and perform routine maintenance.

Are you a self-motivated, skilled, or semi-skilled operator looking for a new opportunity? Do you enjoy working outdoors? If so, we have a great opening for an Asset Team Chemical Operator to join the team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will carry out routine planned preventative maintenance on chemical dosing assets, along with reactive maintenance when required. This role will require you to cover Yeovil, Bridgwater,Weston-super-Mare and surrounding areas.

You will be involved in a wide range of duties, including repairs, replacements, refurbishments, maintenance, testing, and installation of mechanical equipment on chemical systems.

Examples of equipment you will work on include chemical dosing rigs, peristaltic and diaphragm pumps, loading valves, temporary dosing units, and IBCs.

You'll be responsible for setting up temporary dosing rigs and transferring chemicals between IBCs and tanks.

You will work both independently and as part of the southern/regional team while repairing and maintaining assets such as: waste treatment,chemical storage, and dosing assets, chemical storage tanks, feed anddelivery pipework

Your work will also include:

• calibration and maintenance
• cleaning and replacing components
• flushing dosing lines
• installing temporary equipment
• providing support to our treatment teams
• routine planned preventative maintenance.

Training will be provided, however, we are looking for a flexible individual with a can-do attitude who has high personal standards of work quality which meet and exceed health and safety standards and stakeholder needs.
