Job summary

MSV Housing is seeking an experienced Asset Strategy Manager to shape and optimise our property portfolio. You will lead the Data Team and collaborate with senior leaders and external partners to drive effective asset management through strategic planning and robust data management.

You will advocate for people and communities, delivering an integrated disposal strategy, stock surveys, and data-driven investment planning to maximise value for residents and stakeholders across Greater Manchester.

Qualifications

• Level 4 in Chartered Institute of Housing / or willingness to work towards
• Experience in a management or senior role in related field.
• Proven leadership experience within asset management, property services, or a related field, with a track record of leading high-performing teams.
• Strong analytical and strategic skills, with experience using asset management data to identify improvements and support informed decision-making.
• Demonstrable experience in investment planning and delivering asset investment programmes, alongside the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead the disposal strategy and stock rationalisation programme to optimise assets.
• Manage the five-year stock condition survey programme with external consultants to ensure data is accurate and delivered on time and within budget.
• Drive asset performance through data analysis, option appraisals, and strategic recommendations that maximise value and sustainability.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal teams, residents, consultants, legal partners and external stakeholders to support asset management and disposals.
• Lead and develop the Data Team, ensuring data integrity, high-quality reporting and continuous improvement across asset management processes.
