Job summary

First Choice Homes Oldham is seeking a Head of Asset Strategy to lead long-term asset management, investment planning and sustainability across 11,500+ homes. You will oversee Asset Planning, Asset Surveying and Sustainability teams, ensuring robust 1, 3 and 5-year investment programmes and a 30-year plan with data-driven decisions and regulatory compliance.

Reporting to the Director of Assets & Sustainability, you'll optimise asset information, drive decarbonisation and EPC targets while

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in asset strategy or equivalent role.
• Strong track record in social housing asset strategy and investment planning.
• Experience managing large budgets, programmes and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to turn large asset datasets into clear investment priorities.
• Knowledge of energy efficiency and decarbonisation policies.
• Experience presenting reports to Boards and Executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of Asset Management Strategy and sustainability initiatives.
• Develop 1-, 3- and 5-year investment programmes and a 30-year plan.
• Oversee stock condition surveying and asset data improvement.
• Use data to identify investment priorities and ROI analysis.
• Manage team budgets, performance and forecasting.
• Lead and develop Asset Planning, Asset Surveying and Sustainability teams.
